since Reki decided there needed to be more forced heterosexual romance, they've known eachother for like a day and were just trying to kill eachother the last time we saw them

which makes no sense because Souls aren't even a qualtifiable thing....they're an abstract concept humans invented to explain consciousness

Well you heard the whole fluctlight explanation.  It's pretty obvious this show isn't hard sci-fi anymore, if it ever was.  Especially since Miller is able to eat people's souls.

They fell in love over the course of their fight.  It is shonen logic lol.  This show has basically been a shonen since Kirito and Eugeo started fighting their way up the tower.

Hold on. Which Korea?

I'd imagine South

for real though China and Korea hate Japan and WITH GOOD REASON, Japan has a similar history with the rest of asia that the British empire has with most of the world, Japan committed a LOT of genocides and other human rights crimes against their neighbors to the point that it's considered active and vile  racism for Japanese media to depict Chinese or Korean people in a negative light

BITCH HE'S DEMONIZING CHINA AND KOREA TOO?!!!!!, OKAY THIS IS ACTUALLY WORSE THAN THE AMERICA THING IF YOU KNOW JAPAN'S HISTORY WITH CHINA AND KOREA!!!

*sigh* They're not being demonized.  Miller's team is tricking people to fight on their behalf.

Was she trying to call him a slur over their chat?

I just looked it up

and yep....it's a slur.....it's a dig at the fact that chinese people have rounder faces and flatter profiles on average than other races
