STOPS COPIES ME KUDASAI

I recognize that Frog avatar.... stonergoth was kind enough to duplicate a whole lot of moving and still 8-bit and 16-bit sprites I found on the net so the pictures belonged to her, and I could use them as avatars on the ASMB under their ridiculous rules.... I'm assuming you, kuds, found this image elsewhere on the net and didn't use the exact one I used (the one made by stonergoth), but I digress...

That's ok.... I can share... it's a bad ass avatar and I'm always up for people repping Chrono Trigger, and Frog in particular.

Also, my work is having a video talent contest and I submitted myself playing Frog's Theme on guitar. Not a great take, but the deadline snuck up on me, didn't get in as much practice as I would've liked.

EDIT: Finally got it to work. This site doesn't like .movs, I guess.

Are you using a sock as a capo?

I think some people wrap a cloth or scrunchie around the strings above the nut to keep them from ringing out. I am wondering what kind of guitar does not have an inlay on the 12th fret. This must be a custom job.

That would make more sense since the sock doesn't look tight enough to be a capo.  Looks like it's covering the 1st two frets.  That would put the inlays in the typical spots of 3, 5, 7, 9, 12 15, 17, 19 and 21.
Looks like a Les Paul without the pick guard which is why there's a screw next to the pickup.  The one I have looks similar.

You are exactly correct about the sock. It took me many years to find out that trick through a guitar teacher at the local community college, though he recommended a scrunchy. My bandmate that we record our music together recommended a sock, as that's what he uses.

You're incorrect about the lack of inlay at the 12th fret though, it is there.

The pickguard is there but it's the same shade of black as the guitar so it might be easy to miss.

And yes, it is a Les Paul.

So you have a magical guitar that just does not have the first two frets then. Whoa-kay.

What...? The sock is covering up the first two frets. Neither were needed in the song, and if I were to put the sock behind the nut, it would not mute the open strings like I needed.

I really do need to get a scrunchy, as I imagine this hurdle would not exist. I have long hair, but even long-haired dudes don't typically use scrunchies to tie their hair back/up.

Sounds like you need a groupie.

It's like a creampie, but...ah, fuck, I'll explain later.
