exactly. if I said "no going on the table, Shadow" it would be most ineffective so I just roll with it.

I'm just happy that she's gotten too big to jump on my shoulders, which she used to love to do when she was a smaller kitten.  Really, can't begin to describe how great it was for us to find her just before the pandemic hit so we could spend every day watching her grow and, of course, spoil her.

I know the feeling I did that with Shadow before the pandemic just because I'm anti-social and I'm glad she's too big to get up on counters :D

I'm sure we're not the only ones who talk silly to our cats.

Our inside cats are Cullen and Eva. Cullen is named after Cullen Bohannon from Hell on Wheels. Eva is named for the tattooed woman on Hell on Wheels. So, we call him Cullen BoKitty and she is Eva BoKitty.

All I have to do is say "Hey Bo-Bo" and she will get up from a dead sleep to come to me. Him, not so much. But she loves me.

I keep a bottle of nose spray in my pocket at all times, because I can never breathe, and she is obsessed with it. She likes me to rub her with it. I can pull it out and she comes running to get rubbed. So, I kept an empty bottle for her to cuddle with. Weird, I know. But she loves it.

I don't give mine human food either only rarely

Eh, most cats are polite, had one that liked lunch meat so when a sandwich was being made treats were demanded. I always let them clean the tuna cans too.

It's always funny when a cat sneaks up behind you and grabs your fork to sniff your food only to walk away. I used to eat cereal out of Tupperware and I was drinking the milk and a cat hops on my shoulder and starts drinking with me. I stop and look at her and she just looks at me as if to say, "you aren't going to stop this so let's just finish that milk." And that was the time I shared a bowl of milk with a cat.

Hah, well you seem to enjoy cat tales and I've been around many. My brother's cat had at least six litters when I was a kid and I was one of the people allowed to visit the newborns.

yea I love cats and everything about them. in fact my first word I ever spoke was "kitty"
