From what I read Tobi was observing/researching Naruto here for something that happens in the movie, though I haven't actually seen the movie yet.

Ep was worth it for the fanservice though even if we won't be seeing the movie.

Last night really was a fanservice-packed night on Toonami! It's a real shame I slept through most of it, but I DID catch this episode with the west coast in a time of considerable awakened-ness!

I think it's kinda funny that this just happened to be episode 311, since the band 311 got their name because it is a code in Omaha, Nebraska for indecent exposure. I wonder if the Japanese were aware of this; it's been well documented how much they love puns!
