Hmm. I do not know if this is bad or not. I feel like I have heard conflicting information about hand feeding squirels.

Well it's been months of this, and it's been charming

Idk I am pretty sure there are signs at the park that say do not feed them. But then again myabe I am just misremembering things.

The do not feed at parks is usually about introducing foods that aren't part of an animals diet.

I've never hand-fed one, but every year we have some squirrels and birds that get very comfortable near us. I'll be sitting on my steps having a smoke, and one of the squirrels will just rock up to me like, "Yo." They'll come within a foot of me if I don't move too much. It's pretty tight. Next year I should try to make it happen and get them to take food from me.

Bad.  Had to reshingle part of my roof & they've ripped through the screens on a screened-in porch this summer.

Oh, and they've been chewing on the wood double hung windows.
