my work laptop is doing Windows updates for the last hour

I guess so. I found it tho. There is a pause button in windows 10. I mean... i unno what's what these days. It still freaks me out how I don't have to defragment my hdd anymore. And people tell me I don't need to restart my computer after installing most things anymore. Idk what to believe

Are you sure it wasn't an option to pause the download?  The download and install are two different things.

Not sure. Maybe it just stops updates from starting. idk what I was thinking telling naraku what's what about computers. I know nothing

Mine too. And trying to be helpful. I know you can manually set the active hours and that's supposed to keep updates from happening when youre working. I feel like m$ might be like nope this update is too critical tho

I mean I'm not discounting what you're saying. If it were my own computer then yeah you're right I can set my hours easily. They disable the option on our work laptops so we're at the mercy of Windows
