RainyDayJizz#35
What is the game... Gloom? You draw cards and make up stories about how your characters die and get points in various ways. The point of bringing it up is that I'm not certain of the game's name because we call it the horse fucker game. It's called that because the first time i played the game everyone in my family was fucked to death by a horse. I should have made it the same horse every time, that would have been fun. RainyDayJizz#35
Maybe kinda, the stories usually went through all these trials and tribulations and I would just end them with, "and then they were fucked to death by a horse." You competed for the saddest life.

Lasty
Wow, I thought they were running out of ideas for flavor content when they did dinosaurs meets Egypt... They should just stop and re-boot all the old sets with fixes and additions... There's enough content there for a few decades worth of releases. My area you can find magic at the shops, but Yugioh and Pokemon are dead around here. Only way to play it is via online. The good thing about online is that the rules are pretty iron-clad. There were many times where I felt a card could work one way, but in practice it didn't. This really more came up in Yugioh where there is a set order you'll sometimes have to activate a card. This was more in Yugioh when cards became paragraphs of text with multiple conditions and effects. The downside I've noticed though really with online is a vast lack of diversity in decks. Pokemon it's like 4 decks at any given time, and Yugioh might have around 8. The turn time for Yugioh has also become cancer. People just take forever to finish a turn. If you even set the turn clock to 3mins you will have an empty lobby because that isn't enough time for them to finish a turn. Pokemon you'll run into some assholes from time to time. I was running rouge decks. It was just shutting down meta decks at the time, because all meta were set to counter EX cards, while my deck didn''t really use them. Would at times run into someone just running out their turn clock and hitting end turn right at the end so they wouldn't get DQ. It was either they were really sore losers, or even full on assholes who's strategy was to make a stall deck and get their wins via the other person surrendering. I mean you can run out of time as well in the other games. It's just that if you hit end turn before the timer runs out then you're good and the timer resets when it's your turn again. IRL though the timer was 40mins. In online though you get like 5mins a turn which is insane. You don't know how to play your deck if you're taking 5mins on a turn. The problem was more that the game became more convoluted in Yugioh. Pendulum rules really fucked things over. Like I said syncro took a lot of the older strats out of the game and kinda pissed on fun decks forcing more streamlined games to get stronger monsters on the field faster. Though it was still a manageable system. Pendulum was this weird set where you'd have to set pendulum monsters on parts of the field, then you could pretty much search and summon full benches of weak monsters. In turn you'd use those as either syncro or tribute summons for stronger monsters, which involves searching your deck. Many of the summoned monsters have effects to search your deck, the chance to play spell cards to search your deck etc. It just stopped being fun when everyone accepted that as the format. I miss the days of being able to play some face down cards and just end the damn turn. Magic sounds better in some regards. I might pick the game up on steam sometime to test it out. I kinda know the basics, but never really got into magic. Friends were into it, but they're too damn meta to have fun against when you don't have anything that can compete. I remember making a stall burn/mill deck to just try and learn some when playing against them. Down side is they're not fun to play against and aren't fun to play as when you're still greatly disadvantaged.

Copyright dodging stuff... You know what's funny about intellectual property rights? It was purportedly intended to secure the lively hood of artists and creators, but wound up doing the opposite of that for a vast majority of them seeing as all creativity is a combining of known elements in new ways and it just cut people off from inspirational material.
