When you say you won't be here much longer what do u mean?

Expand

I'm not going to be here much longer. I'm getting out of here. I'm not going to exist in this particular space any longer. Meaning, I'm going elsewhere in location.

........That's a stretch.

It's cheap, is air-conditioned, clean, and your neighbors won't bother you if you make noise.

Sowing royal oats is sounds like fun.....until you hear about issues with the Rona wherever it is. Texas is prime example of idiocy......but....the risk may be worth it. Still leaving for more...tropical pastures, hopefully.

But it's all a hoax. Whatever. Maybe I'll be asymptomatic and kill someone inadvertently.

I'm thinking since I'm 1/4 italian, my body can survive a higher ratio of oregano to not-oregano than the virus

Vegas is not expensive.

I've noticed ppl have this reaction when I say that's where I'm going. They think it's going to be a vacation lifestyle like I'm going to party all the time. To me Vegas is the industry since lots of porn studios moved there. Lots of my porn friends moved there. There's work and flights to anywhere in the country. Above all it's cheap. It's nice to live in an affordable city when you cam bc I will make the same amount of $$$ camming no matter where I am. Whereas most regular jobs the income will scale with the cost of living of the city you're in.

So partying/nightlife/etc. I'm not thinking about any of that. It's purely a utilitarian move. In no way does it feel like luxury to me. It's hot af and I know I'll die if I see a scorpion.

I know Vegas isn't expensive. It's not so much the expense that I'm talking about. You have the opportunity and ability to do so. Meaning, you can do so without much consequence. Think of it like this: You don't really have to call of of work or do too much to get there. We should all be so lucky.
Most "regular" jobs don't exactly scale with the area. Been looking into that for a minute now.
The heat there is dry meaning there's no humidity.

One of my employees lives in Henderson and commutes in to LA for work, so clearly parts of Clark County are affordable to make that kind of commute worth it.

I'll never understand long commuters unless it's like you do the roundtrip once a week and stay near work.

It's fucking stupid, but I guess to each his or her own.  I have to do a round trip to Madera (next town above Fresno) every week, and it drains me. I'd probably just stay the night, but I can't afford to waste two days out of the office.
