Swimmod_Luna Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 It's weird because this will be my first time interviewing somewhere while I'm already employed full time at a job I'm mostly happy with.
Distortedreasoning Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 nice! you could finally treat us to some food.
Swimmod_Luna Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 So I think it went alright. I can never tell how well I do at interviews though. I would have my own OFFICE with this job. Not just desk/cubicle but a whole ass office.

When I send the thank you email should I just thank him or say "you and your colleagues"
Ginguy Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 (edited) Thank all of them. I'd use something like I would like to thank everyone on the team who took time to interview me. I look forward to a rewarding blah blah blah Edited February 14, 2020 by Ginguy 1

Like before they even give me an answer one way or another. I pretty much always send those after an interview not sure how much of a difference it actually makes 1
Swimmod_Luna Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 I had a dream last night that they emailed me back to reject me but they also outlined why. Like what they were looking for compared to what I said in the interview and how to improve my interview skills in the future.

Naraku4656 Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 I have before. Not often but it did happen
Swimmod_Luna Posted February 20, 2020 Author Posted February 20, 2020 So they did actually send me a rejection e-mail. They didn't give me specific pointers or anything but it was a personal e-mail from the guy I interviewed with rather than just a boiler plate response. Apparently 16 people applied to the job, I was one of 3 interviewed, and the person they ended up hiring had experience more in line with the position yadda yadda yadda
