fuggstop Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Are also the most evil devil filled people i know Like my aunt goes to church every single sunday. Shes a pathological liar who lied to my cousin who i was close to and ruined our relationship and i havent talked to her in 2 years
renjifan Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 One of my best friends is really religious. I love her to death, we've been friends since middle school, but I've had to tell her that we can't talk religion when we hang out. Anytime I've hung out with her and her church friends, it's like they try to make me feel bad about myself and pressure me into being more religious. The first time I met them, one of them asked me how sure I was that I was going to Heaven, on a scale of 1-100. The very first question out of their mouth, after introductions... Just makes me feel super uncomfortable, which I think is the opposite of what religion is supposed to be. 1

Force their ideas on others like they need that as reinforcement when all that shit is is a power play
katt_goddess Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 It's because they figure that confessing their shit in church every day immediately absolves them of actually not being horrible bastards on the daily. Their 'sins' aren't a never ending snowball of evil to them, they are just sinning new every time.
Seight Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I've noticed a trend where the escape velocity of religious people getting in trouble is very high. Like, they can't just get in regular, cops and a night of jail trouble. It has to be some awful shit going on there. 1

Vamped Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I always like to tell those super bible thumpers that like to act proud because they can recite bible passages at me for no reason that the devil can do it better lol 1 1
