GuyBeardmane Posted December 22, 2018 Author Posted December 22, 2018 Truck stopped in front of me, and I tried stopping and slid under his bumper. I've not had a good year. 1
GuyBeardmane Posted December 22, 2018 Author Posted December 22, 2018 Yeah, neither of us was injured, and no other vehicles were involved. Silver linings. 4
lupin_bebop Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 I’m sorry that happened. But.....probably about time, though. I mean.... it’s past time for you to update that tired ass ride. 1

Doom Metal Alchemist Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 According to an ex-coworker who is certified as a truck driver (but did not go that route professionally), truck drivers are among the best and most careful drivers out there because of the rigorous training and requirements to still be employed. Well, last week a semi started to merge into my lane when I was directly next to the middle of it. My knee-jerk reaction was to swerve into the next available lane, and thankfully no one was on that side of me. The semi never stopped his merging or even delayed it. It's like he was 100% unaware I was even there.
