mochi Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 the official novelization for Boruto apparently more or less outright says that in universe even when there's clear cut romantic feelings between two same sex characters those feelings are impossible to explore because only men and women can love eachother romantically, to be more clear, Spoiler there's a novelization of a scene that says Sakura and Ino have romantic feelings for eachother (since when tho?) but that their gender makes it "impossible" for them to act on them
OwlChemist81 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 Why must you always bring homosexuality or lack thereof into everything? Besides, I think you're reading too much into this. It could simply be that, in Naruto's world, that same sex attraction is so taboo it's like human transmutation in Fullmetal Alchemist, not that it's physically impossible but so frowned upon it's an invisible, uncross-able line.
