jackiemarie90 Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 (edited) Due to bad air quality from the California fires. Honestly it's been like this for like a week. At some points the sun looked red from the smoke. But idk I just happy I got to sleep in today. I don't think they fires are that bad in my half in Cali, I think they are worst in the south. Edit: Apparently the fire is stronger here that I realized. But no one is gonna really do anything so idk. Edited November 15, 2018 by jackiemarie90

Did you drive a car today? Do you know how many cars kill people? What about eat a cheeseburger? Do you know that heart disease is the number one killer of Americans?

Distortedreasoning Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 we had a few days up here in portland like that where it looks like theres a filter in the sky. it was from all the state wide fires. seen some of the video of that paradise fire, looks like they are driving through straight to hell.

For now. 😞 Well at least not all of California is burning down. I'm learning that more schools across the bay area were closed. Its hard to just kinda be in a scenario where others are suffering at the same time. I'm trying to make the best of the situation. I walk 40 minutes to get home from school if I don't want to wait for the bus for an hour. After my night class at 9 last night, it was really dark outside, but I could still smell and see haze in the sky. It was really bizarre. On top of that I was smoking walking home which made it easier to get through all of it.

Yeah some of those are the worst, craziest situations. I have no complaints at all of my situation, but don't know really how to respond for others.
Distortedreasoning Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 just keep doing your thing. not much you can really do except to go on as normal.

Just got another email from school that tomorrow will be cancelled too. It just means more sleep for someone who has insomnia.

My insomnia keeps me up most of the night, but I'm able to sleep in the day. It's harder when you have morning classes to feel well rested, but sleeping in gives me a normal pattern.

It's pretty nice by the border. All the fires are north of me in the gentrified areas. Take that, wealthy people!
