a lot of the pros don't really apply to her. she literally don't leave my attic unless I carry her out of here. the one and only reason I have to actually do it is the reduced rick of pyometra. but I don't know how high her risk of that is

If it doesn't fit your cat's needs, then don't. When I was speaking to you about it the other day, my opinions were solely based on our cat's needs. We really had no choice as we have 3 males and a female. And they are around each other all day and night.

my cat spent her whole life in a single room. I found her as a feral kitten and locked her in my bedroom with me as part of the taming. now she just don't leave. she's actually scared of going outside

Imagine the mind-blowing experience when all you've ever known is limited to a small space, and then you find out there's something larger beyond.  Especially if the cat feels safe in knowing their space and finds out that there are no ceilings or walls outside.

If memory serves me, there are certain cancers that spaying a female cat will help prevent, but cats aren't my specialty, and it's been a while since memory served me.

@katt_goddess Halp!

that's the best reason I have to do it

That, and she won't go crazy when she's in heat. But katt's a better source of info than I am, and I'm sure there are a few other cat people around that would also be helpful (I got my cats as adults, so they were pre-fixed, so I didn't really have to think about it)

Among the other important health and reproductive concerns, once a cat goes into heat, she will keep going into heat unless she mates. So unless you want a really loud, horny cat, I’d highly recommend spaying.

Breast cancers.

Kitties can lose their titties too.
