fuggstop Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 My kid keeps hurting my feelings this week Just laughed at me just now and said shes a better gamer than me cuz i dont know how to play Undertale I was watching my fav of all time show from the 90s, My So Called Life. She laughed at me watching it and called it blurry. 😏 (not all of us were born after HD tv was invented OK!?) She says im not allowed to smile when she draws something awesome cuz its "awkward". Im only allowed to "smile in [my] head". I had to skip a week of getting her hair done because of Florence. She accused me of messing with her "popularity" with her friends at school. "There's such a thing as popularity, Mom🙄". She says. Finally got her hair done and I ask her if her friends said anything abt it. She says "Nobody cares what each other's hair looks like, Mom 🙄." After i stressed out for days thinking they were gonna hurt her feelings. Her stupid school had a fundraiser and ive NEVER in my life have truly participated in stupid fundraisers. I hate them. But i decided I can do it this time because im very cool with a lot of people at work. I got almost TEN people to agree to buy something. Then begged each of them for days to pay me for their stuff. On the morning to turn in the list n money, she complains to her grandmother "Mom was too lazy to collect the money." I said, "Hold up little girl..who u calling lazy after i begged like a hobo on my job for money?" I almost lost a friend cuz i browbeat her when she tried to back out lol They all paid thru cash app. I just had to write a check. Can't really beat her cuz she's not necessarily being bad and can't correct her cuz she's not necessarily wrong. Gonna just come here and lick my wounds lol 3rd grade. Oh boy. Just can't WAIT until high school.
