Probably coal and oil just going off a whim then. What kind of jobs are we talking about here though?

The kind that can actually be building blocks to a better future or the kind that kill you either slowly

or  have a high death toll? Furthermore man.. I would like proof of how Trump's administration

directly influenced this. Because he should have some redeeemable qualities anyway.

Maybe I can give him this. :|

Look for how many unnecessary encumberments he's taken off of business.

Try getting your own place without one...

Unless you're a third generation welfare bum, it ain't happening.

Why do they have to move out because they have a job?

Because they are a loathsome burden on a pair of parents who have better things to do than keep them in the house.

How do you know what their parents need or want? Don't you feel that is rather presumptuous?

There comes a time in every parent's life when they just want to see their kids all grown up and living on their own.  Falling short of that mark indicates failure on both sides.

According to whom? Every parent? Based upon what?

Packard, you see how you could be wrong when you speak?

Do you know the circumstances that caused it for every single instance?

If not, go fuck yourself.

I am purchasing my own property after joining the military and being shipped straight to Iraq Pacman.

Don't lump me in with your normal competition. I am young but have spent a lot of my time figuring out

what makes different types of people tick.. This particular post happened to peak my interest,

and then your reply immediately reminded me of how stupid you have to be..

Do I need to be one of those guys in a homemade kiosk holding a sign that says proove me wrong?

I've defended you a lot you know..

You don't?  That means your parents are not perpetually making excuses for you.  Good for you.

Now, the next time you meet someone who stayed home, pay attention to his parents' attitude.

How do you know how my parents feel about their living situation, or mine?

How numerous are the "circumstances" besides laziness or poor parenting?

Disability.

There's tons of them. Most serious disabilities result in extreme poverty and often limit job opportunities.

I know from experience that is an infuriating pain in the ass to get a job with an autoimmune disease that has an astronomical monthly cost and vision too poor to drive. Having to get a job without a drivers license has fucked me over a ridiculous number of times and that's not including the countless times I couldn't be successful at a job due to poor eyesight or could get a job but needed to pass since I require health insurance they didn't provide if I want to be able to eat.

I don't even have the worst disabilities out there. There are far worse, significantly more common ones. And I'm still trapped in a horrifically low paying job while living in an absurdly expensive city with nowhere near enough money to move out of.

There's a second sentence, you know.  Scroll up.

I saw, and I also have seen many situations where the children are benefitting their parents by having a job and living at home.

But are the parents really benefiting?

I don't have to eat every orange off the tree to know what an orange tastes like.

Yes they are, they qualify for different lending options. They help support larger families and children in the household, they encourage stronger family bonds, grant the family access to additional schools and services by pooling their monies.

I'm sure there are families out there with the last name Walton's.

But anyways, how do you figure living on your own is in the best interest of the parents and the children?

Since you asked, and Packard was too busy stealing copper to provide a real answer, here is the ESS from June.

It contains figures for YTD as well as monthly, and provides a general overview of the current employment situation.

Ok so which policy under the trump administration made this possible. I'm not trying to be facetious, but I want to know how Trumps administration..while dealing with his dumb ass twitter comments and irrational interviews..has had time to actually make this happen. Wheres the legislation Ginguy? I will surely shut my mouth when I see that. I've had a hard time finding it amongst the backwash I guess. :|

For the very same reason a child should be out of diapers and using toilets like a big boy before age three.

It's called change and growth, either way... to maturity.

Statistically, the demographic you're bitching about works more hours for less money than your generation. Most of the people living with parents have jobs and work full time, but still can't move out because of people like you being in positions of power.

That's what they all say.

Unless the parents happen to be spoon fed invalids who can't be left unsupervised and the live at home kids have overtaken the entire operation from getting every single bill paid to keeping the house in good repair, that excuse doesn't wash.

But, you do realize that it could happen, right? You just said so... So, how do you know other people have that exact scenario?

Not at all the case.  When you can't afford to buy that house in Newport, Rhode Island, shoot for an apartment.  Can't afford the apartment, either?  Two options... rooming house or crowd renting.
