I'm selling them off.

1938 Packard

Recommended Posts

My radio collection is leaving the house.  I had someone interested a while back, but since he works in Canada, the deal fell because of postage cost issues.

The buyer I found this time is in Connecticut.  Postage is much more reasonable.

After he restores them and posts them for resale, I'll provide here a link so you can see the value of them.

i mean, who doesn't charge for shipping, when brokering this kind of deal? the dude would pay it, if buying to restore? and then flip?

some people are just too stupid for their own good.

I was confused as to was Packard saying he had to pay the shipping since he said it's more reasonable this time....Because that was stupid.....But nothing else made sense the way he worded it so I decided to go with STFU instead of trying to make heads or tails of his fictional endeavors.

So you're bragging about how much other people will sell the garbage you collect for when in the same post you say postage will be an issue, because it seems a possible $40 - $80 dollar postage will make a huge dent in your profit margin. If I'm not mistaken this is what you're saying.

The first guy didn't want to pay shipping... and I don't blame him, especially after seeing postage to Canada.  The guy I'm dealing with now pays the postage.

Whatever can be sold, bartered or used is not garbage.  These things have been sold.  The first person who showed an interest backed away after seeing postage costs between here and Canada.  The current buyer is paying postage.

So my statement stands as fact. The crap you sell isn't worth the postage.

No vials... radios.

See if you can guess which three he's bought from me.

Wait, so he's done all this in the time it took for this shitty thread to make it to like 15 posts (I'm not going back to actually count).

Oh wait, you're going to say you've sold to this dude before, which then pokes a giant hole in your OP because why would you try to sell trash internationally knowing that shipping prices go up if you had a domestic buyer.

So this leads me to believe none.....You have sold none of those to him, and you probably have a pic of something vaguely similar in your house, but if I ask for a bill of sale, or some kind of proof, you'll say some shit like "Why don't you ask him yourself" or "If I did, you'd just say it photoshop" and then you'll derail this into some tire spiel about how this is more lucrative than having an education.

There, I just saved us like 40 more posts.....Can we skip to the part where you go away.

Sorry, Jack.  No holes.  Read it again.  Try not to skip over the parts you find to be inconvenient.

The first person I contacted was international.  The current one is not.  The first one I contacted was over a month ago and has in fact been mentioned here before.

Ok, so by this post, the first one you contacted was international and contacted a month ago AND mentioned here....While this new guy was able purchase, have shipped, and restore 3 radios.  This within the time of you making the OP which indicates that he has not yet restored or posted them, but conveniently this happened within 8 hours of you making this thread.

No.  I sent the radios to the second buyer long enough BEFORE I started this thread.
