I'll most likely be missing most if not all of the block tonight.

My brother's wife had their son on April 10th and we're going to see him today.  It's crazy to think of myself as an uncle, but even crazier to think of my little brother as a dad!  Baby looks like a clone of him too!

It takes three and a half hours to drive from central Texas to the Dallas area (the distances in Texas are cosmic) and we can't afford to stay anywhere, and they live in a tiny apartment, so we'll also be driving home today, getting back very late most likely.

They're also moving to Rhode Island soon so we need to make the most of this chance.

I've got the shows set to record and I'll watch and post my thoughts later on as I am able.  Enjoy the block, everyone!

After getting 3 seasons into MHA I can honestly say it's a great anime. It is very familiar shonen territory, but does it really really well.

well, yeah, but at least this time, it's a brave and heroic sacrifice in which he's fully aware of his limitations and not just a fabricated blunder to make him look foolhardy and cocky...

The concept isn't particularly innovative, but the execution IS PRETTY MUCH PERFECT.

MHA aside, Toonami needs less shonen.  Maybe cancel Black Clover to even things out.

I do think so. It;s just..... MHA is one of the few shonens I REALLY love, much like Bleach.  I just wish we had gotten this when the epsiodes were fresher.  And skip DBZ, Naruto, BC.

when Vegeta actually does something important and actually impressive I'll stop (and that doesn't happen until the last 20 eps of the series so it's gonna be for quite a while until I start singing Super's praises)

how you feel watching Black Clover is how I feel as a Vegeta fan watcing Super every weekend, the only reason I even watch Super is to be a good sport to the people who do like it, and I hold my tongue a lot more watching Super than I do Black Clover because I still remember how watch Z made me feel as a Vegeta fan so I cut it a break, I could voice a lot worse opinions about Super if I really wanted to but I don't because I actually like the idea of Vegeta and see way more potential in him than either Toei or Toriyama seem to these days, lets leave it at that and stop accusing me of being a troll just because I don't enjoy seeing my favorite character reduced to this

Imagine getting paid to grunt, laugh, and snicker for a role. I don't think Justin Cook is still voicing Buu at this stage, but I bet that must have been a treat for the VA.
