But I won't be on the UEMB for the next two days because I have a two-day juror assignment!  :'(

Have to work twelve hours a day for the next two days. I'm going to drink a lot, so that I can vote not guilty because the legal system is wack and everybody deserves a second chance.

I don't know what the case is about. All the firm told me is that it's an "alternative dispute resolution". Wow that'd be so cool if it's a dating dispute! If the guy's anything like me, I'm picking him as not guilty!

Guess they liked meeeeeeee. <3

I didn't really interview for it, they just had a dire need for jurors. The pay is really nice for a two day assignment.

we get 11 dollars a day

This one's 20 per hour. It's only for two days though. I'm just hoping I don't mess anything up. I'll probably go against the grain since the groupthink among the other jurors will need to be questioned!

11 dollars a day, shit that's less than minimum wage

You also get to listen to how much of an honor your service is.

Plus ... you have jury duty in 2 sets. The first time you get summoned you listen to the lecture and you pick which week you want to come in for the actual jury selection. Then when you come back (and you have to come back or they send out the sheriff) is when you get try and bargain your way out

Don't forget to step to the judge and flex your muscles if he/she says something you don't agree with. Show 'em what's up, and who's really in charge. That will impress the hell out of everybody, and hot chicks will throw themselves at you.

I won't step to him, but I'll definitely voice my disagreement, and if the bailiff starts walking toward me, I'll give him a warning, "Keep your distance, man. I don't want to catch "involuntary manslaughter" charges!"
