Wait till the birds start eating the fruit.... and then spread the seeds over everywhere else in your yard.  Pretty soon, you'll have tomatoes were are the weeds used to be.

No that will be me with the Robin's in 3 months and mulberries too boot

Birds never bother the tomatos here. Now the deer, can't say that about those assholes. They eat everything.

I'm hoping the morning frost is done. It was below freezing last weekend.

It's weeks past planting time here. We just had some freak cold fronts roll through.

It's more likely that salt water from the hurricane left salt in the soil. She might try amending the soil with potting soil or something that wasn't touched by salt water.
