Sixteen tomato plants are in the ground.

Birds never bother the tomatos here. Now the deer, can't say that about those assholes. They eat everything.

It's more likely that salt water from the hurricane left salt in the soil. She might try amending the soil with potting soil or something that wasn't touched by salt water.

I checked my garden today after three days of rain and it looked great. The deer think it looks pretty awesome too. They have been all through it checking out all the plants.
