I'm on Firefox. What does saving do? It looks like it adds a bookmark which isn't very useful if you want to grab the image by itself. Open link in a new tab is not the same as the old view image. View image took you to the url of the image itself not the page that it appears on. It's a much slower process which is ultimately the tactic because stopping it outright is virtually impossible.

By saving I meant downloading.  Yes you can open the image itself in a new tab, which is the same thing.  On Chrome at least.  And I still don't get what this has to do with piracy.

The "View image" button is no longer visible correct? What are the steps you're using to view the image url on a separate tab? If I right click and copy image then past into a new tab that works, but its essentially a work around. I think it should be obvious how it relates to piracy.

I right-click on the image and open in new tab, or hold for pop up menu on my phone and select open in new tab.  Download image is still available from this menu too.  Sooo... yeah.

And has been stated you can download stuff just by going to the site, unless it's coded to not allow that.  Probably where Google Image would come in.  Easier than using inspect element.

Awww fuck Getty.  "Owning" pictures is bullshit.
