Not only nothing to worry about, a profound sense of freedom in your noninvolvement with the state of reality as it is.

Sisyphus pushing the boulder will never know a joy as great as pushing the boulder.

The catch 22 about that is that your perception of your own non-involvement with the state of reality is part of the tiny slice of reality that is you. You're involved no matter what you do, or don't. It's a trap!

Well it's a given that "you're" going to react to "the environment" you find yourself in; up to and including "conscious thought," I just argue that the concepts of yourself, your thoughts, and the environment are all comprised of the same exact chemical reaction as the rest of objective three-dimenional/quasi-four-dimensional existence: thereby rendering any true distinction between these things an entirely pointless endeavor.

We are the world.

Check out this interview sponges, I had to listen to it twice to really get what he was saying but you pretty much just spelled it out in your own.

"Our mind is a world. Our mind is literally made of the objects that surround our body. I think it's very reassuring - because we are no longer prisoners of our body, we are no longer prisoners of our brain - but we are the external world, we are a universe, we are the world we have an experience of. So when we see a color, we are made of that color. When we see a rainbow, we are made of that rainbow. The world makes us, in a very strong and literal sense."
