I thought the funny old stuff was Harvey Birdman, Home Movies, Baby Blues, and The Brak Show, and they lost their luster. I actually think Mission Hill and Family Guy are the only comedies that remain timelessly funny. Robot Chicken had potential, but its producers tried way too hard at times.

bnmjy Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I thought Stroker and Hoop was stupid. As for the other two shows, I really liked Morel Orel, but with the way it ended, I think a revival would be highly unnecessary. The Oblongs, however, would be a prime choice for revival.

Mission Hill was made specifically to cater to the late 90s/New Millennium culture. It did best in the early 2000s because it still had pop appeal whereas whenever it was brought back to AS in later years, it was always in some graveyard slot. See, GSN, you have to understand that cartoons that are satires of the world in which they were created don't always transcend time. Do you drive a Ford Thunderbird? Do you even drive?

The comedy was significantly less funny, especially between, you know, Rick and Morty.... to the point where nearly every episode had a funnier, more memorable B-plot than A-plot. Like, it became the Jerry Show instead of Rick and Morty. As for Archer being better than Frisky Dingo: no.
