Shows to remember

I heard a few years back they were trying to revive the Oblongs, I'm guessing it never got going though.

I was just thinking of Mission Hill today, that show was pretty good.

Oblongs was going to be revived but because Will Ferrell was/is busy the idea was canned

I haven't watched Aqua Teen in a long time, but like Sealab, I was never high on it. I thought the funny old stuff was Harvey Birdman, Home Movies, Baby Blues, and The Brak Show, and they lost their luster. I actually think Mission Hill and Family Guy are the only comedies that remain timelessly funny. Robot Chicken had potential, but its producers tried way too hard at times.

moral orel is arguably one of the best written shows [as] ever put out

i wish i could remember which one it was. i even made a thread on the boards after watching it the first time.

Yeah, that was supposed to happen . . a few months back Angus did an AMA over at reddit and addressed that. He said it was going to happen, but [as] backed out.

Here's a link to that AMA >

I think it wouldve done better in todays time than its first airing

Not at all. Mission Hill was made specifically to cater to the late 90s/New Millennium culture. It did best in the early 2000s because it still had pop appeal whereas whenever it was brought back to AS in later years, it was always in some graveyard slot. See, GSN, you have to understand that cartoons that are satires of the world in which they were created don't always transcend time. Do you drive a Ford Thunderbird? Do you even drive?

i like both seasons of rick and morty

i liked frisky dingo a lot but i feel like archer is just a better show

Season 2 isn't that bad, but it isn't Rick and Morty. The comedy was significantly less funny, especially between, you know, Rick and Morty.... to the point where nearly every episode had a funnier, more memorable B-plot than A-plot. Like, it became the Jerry Show instead of Rick and Morty.

As for Archer being better than Frisky Dingo: no.
