mochi Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 William Christopher - "Father Mulcahy" on M*A*S*H - 84 yrs old. unless there's a marathon of celebrities that die at 11:59 pm it'd be awfully hard for any more people to die this year but as I keep telling you people 2017 will be worse so stop acting like this year ending is a good thing
CAC Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 One of my fav TV shows, so funny and so very sad at the same time.
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Oh dang, the Jason Alexander look-alike.
sahockeygrl15 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 The final victim of 2016 was Mariah Carey's career ba dum psh :420:
blueraven1999 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I know he was old, but that's sad. I love MASH. Oh well. At least Betty White and June Foray are still alive.
CAC Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 The final victim of 2016 was Mariah Carey's career ba dum psh :420: We can only hope.
CAC Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 At least Betty White and June Foray are still alive. And Stan Lee is somehow still with us.
Admin Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Billie Hayes is still alive. See? there are - many - many people still alive.
1pooh4u Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 William Christopher - "Father Mulcahy" on M*A*S*H - 84 yrs old. RIP. M*A*S*H imo still holds the distinction of having the best series finale ever.
tsar4 Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 It was up there. I liked the end to "House" & "St. Elsewhere". The end to "Roseanne" was a real swerve. But the best had to be "Newhart", nobody saw that coming.
blueraven1999 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 And Stan Lee is somehow still with us. True and I bet he'll keep doing cameo appearances in Marvel movies until he dies. I wonder if he'll cameo in the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Probably.

I'm glad Bob Newhart is still alive too. 87 is pretty old.

I'm glad Bob Newhart is still alive too. 87 is pretty old. And Don Rickles, Tim Conway, Carol Burnett...Bob Newhart on NCIS had me tearing up - I've lost two Grandparents to Alzhiemer's.
CAC Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 True and I bet he'll keep doing cameo appearances in Marvel movies until he dies. I wonder if he'll cameo in the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Probably. I believe so. I remember reading that they film his cameos way ahead of time just to make sure...
blueraven1999 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Newhart, was that the show that ended referencing another show Newhart had? Yep that's the one.
Top Gun Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Breaking Bad filmed an amazing gag alternate ending that was a spoof of Newhart. Bryan Cranston wakes up next to his wife from Malcom in the MIddle.
