1938 Packard Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 They were inside a truck trailer during a heatwave. A survivor came out of the trailer and asked a Walmart employee for water. The employee offered the water and then called 911 for a welfare check on who else might have been there. Several dead bodies were found in the trailer, along with a number of badly heat exhausted and dehydrated survivors. The trailer is presumed to be part of a human trafficking operation and the driver of the truck has been arrested.

1938 Packard Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 Lol wut A welfare check in police jargon is when cops check on the well being of people who could be in distress.
1938 Packard Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 Were they white people? News report didn't specify.
1938 Packard Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 Why couldn't you have been one of them. Because I won't trust anybody who would transport me in a cargo trailer.
fuggnificent Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 its on the front page of cnn. they were undocumented immigrants.
katt_goddess Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 I still have never been in a Walmart. If you go to peopleofwalmart.com you can have all of the experiences without ever leaving home.
NaBarney Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 I still have never been in a Walmart. I went into one for the first time in over a year last week, it was weird. I forgot it was like what it is. So stupidly big I had to ask clerks for help finding things. Also no one who worked there knew how to say diatomaceous earth let alone what it was or if they had it. It wasn't in the flea and tick section of the pet department and it wasn't in the pest control aisle, but I didn't think to check the garden center where there's another large amount of pest control products. In short, don't go.
