Zenigundam
Birth to age 5- not a lot, a few things but very blurry Age 5 to Age 10- a lot, but sometimes a few moments are fuzzy Age 10 to 15- Pretty clear Age 15 to 20- Clear, but some stuff is fuzzy Age 20 to 25- A lot happened, but I need people to remind me of some stuff Age 26 to 27- Same as previous range The closer I was to each age range, the stronger my recollections were. Is the alcohol making things that were once clear fade away without somebody else who was there reminding me of things? :it:

mthor
http://americanaddictioncenters.org/alcoholism-treatment/wet-brain/ This is probably part, if not all of your problem.
NaBarney
Because you've done the same thing for so many days it's kind of shutting down. Maybe challenge it with stimulis more engaging than replaying video games from your preteens in your middle school bedroom
Raptorpat
I've noticed that other people are a lot better at recalling specific grades and teachers from their education than I am, even if they are 20 years older than me. My working theory is that the more years of education you have, the less able you are to remember a lot of those specifics without some sort of prompt to trigger your memory. My other working theory is that I am just bad at remembering things.

Raptorpat
I can't remember a lot of things from grade school without prompting, yet I have a near photographic memory of Banjo-Kazooie and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which, I might admit under oath, played a larger internal role in my life than my education during those years. So, it might not just be that I have an extra four years of college and three of law school on top of pre-k and k-12.
Hornshire
As if anyone would ever ask such a thing of you. Regardless, it's not uncommon for the mind to block out awful memories, which We can only assume constitute the majority of your existence, as it necessarily includes you.
