pail Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 Doesn't clean worth a shit unless you have the nozzle hovering a half inch from the ground. I'm almost done cleaning my driveway but I've had to put in at least 10 hours of work over the course of two days to be almost finished. Piece of shit.
Phillies Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 A power washer that sucks dick? Where can I get one?
Misaka Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 What's the psi on it? Anything under 2100 psi won't do it
scoobdog Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 electric. found your problem. Electric pressure washers work just fine, unless you're try to fuck up shit on purpose.
Rogue_Alphonse Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Gas works much better. I had a Subaru one (I forget what brand, I think Husky) that would take old paint off of any surface, or I could power wash a Jeep and no water would force its way through any parts of the soft top.

They're also a lot more difficult to maintain.
Ginguy Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 You can use an oxygenated bleach to boost cleaning, but yeah electric is the path to fail.

scoobdog Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 That should be more than enough for power washing a sidewalk. Maybe your machine itself is just shit, but it could be the wrong nozzle tip too.

scoobdog Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Just run the gas out of the carb before storing it. Words to live by with any gas powered equipment.
Misaka Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Never had a problem... just run the gas out of the carb before storing it. Never done that with any of my equipment then again I use the ethonal free gasoline
scoobdog Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Never done that with any of my equipment then again I use the ethonal free gasoline Its a good idea to do it, though. Any gas that stays in the carbereteur [sic] will evaporate and leave a glaze on the ports. Do that enough times, and it block the ports and makes for an expensive trip to the lawn mower repair.

Started using this company 2 years ago no problems + my lawnmower repair shop approved of it http://trufuel50.com
PhilosipherStoned Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I found a video online on how to properly service any kind of washing machine. I don't know if it'll work for a pressure washer though.
Gyaos Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I wouldn't know anything about pressure washing driveways. I've only ever lived in places that had gravel lots.
