every 5 minuets or so

 

some of them haven't even had new replies in up to a week

in my experience, if there are threads in your "replies" (button top left of screen) section, it'll continue reminding you of them...you have to remove them by marking them as read

I just ignore those because in a few seconds they go away....like herpes.......wait......

I poked around in the admin and even my own personal settings and figured out nothing.

 

But yea, you're clearly not the only one.
