  1. It's really interesting to me that you made this thread today, when my sister brought over materials for a makeshift sandbox for my nephew, literally today. I didn't piece that together until just now. Stop hanging out in my bushes, Sponges. My life is not fodder for your damn threads!
  2. Isn't that weird? Like your dream brain is like "Yeah this doesn't make any real sense, but let's just accept it and roll with it."
  3. It's how sure and committed she is when she says it that really puts it over the top for me.
  4. Hey, you feel how you feel. I can't honestly say I've never wished ill on someone. In fact, there is one person in this world I legitimately wish harm on, and I'm determined to outlive them just so I can go to their grave and piss on it. And believe me, if they do die before me, I will piss on their grave. [you did the right thing, is my point]
  5. Oh man, I forgot all about that video. HIGH KICKS HIGH KICKS
  6. Fuck having toxic people in your life. Family or not, the stress of having those people around will eventually start taking years off your life. Best to cut them out.
  7. I'm not a doctor. I don't even play one on TV. With that said, based on my personal experience, what you're describing sounds obsessive-compulsive. I have something similar to that happen to me, usually with music. I'll get a lyric or a note that someone sings stuck in my head, and I'll replay it on a loop in my mind for hours. That's a very minor example of my symptoms, comparatively speaking, but it's the most relevant to this thread. If it's not actively affecting your life, I wouldn't be overly concerned. If it is affecting your life, maybe see a psychiatrist or psychologist about it.
  8. I'll take that deal.
  9. This is the high-quality content I come here for.
  10. Now, are we talking sand? Or are we talking gravel? Because fuck gravel. Sand is great to step on. Or step in, as it were. Especially when it's warm, almost too hot but still okay, and you just sink your lil tootsies in... It's awesome. Almost awesome enough for me to go to the beach. But fuck sharks. Thankfully the local water park has a sandy area.
  11. Sand isn't fun when you're a grown-up and you have to clean it. Kids don't have to clean up sand. They just get to play in it, and then track a bunch of it home in various orifices for YOU to clean up, old man!
  12. It's for three-year-olds. You're God damn right, yay sand. Sand is the shit when you're a toddler.
  13. I'm sure America's asbestos industry will prosper too. So I'd call that a victory for the United States.
  14. It's not puzzle-solving, but I guess it's problem-solving.
  15. I can't afford to lose my fingers. Actually, you can't afford to lose my fingers either.
  16. It sucks. When dreams are fun, they're awesome. But dreams like that are just annoying.
  17. I look back on my brief stretch of wanting to be a teacher, and I think, "I would have had to go back to school, for a long time, and then I would work at a school." And then I laugh, because that sounds like a lot of nope.
  18. A good innovation on the classic technique of tearing off the stickers and putting them back on in the right order.
  19. I'm gonna do you. PROUD... do you proud. <.<
  20. It used to be that I thought I graduated, but I somehow had one more test that I had to do. So I was back in school, and for some reason I would encounter people I knew back then, but it wasn't weird that they were there too. Now, when I dream I'm back in school, I don't know any of the kids. I'm clearly an adult, and someone usually asks me something like, "Why the fuck are you here right now?" There is presumably a reason for me to be there, but it never becomes clear in the dream. I'm just in a classroom, talking to someone. Occasionally I go into the hallway and try to go to another class, but I don't remember ever getting to one. Either I wake up, or the dream shifts into some other random, unmemorable bullshit.
  21. Yeah, they are. No exaggeration, I've literally beaten the first game hundreds of times. Playing that game, along with Alex Kidd, is like meditating for me. I can completely shut my brain off.
  22. Ayy, I'm walkin' here! *various Italian hand gestures*
