Yeah the comedy is charming, keeping a smile on my face, but not really laugh out loud funny for me. It's kinda just like an extra spice as opposed to the meat of the dish. But I digress.

No, but I did read the spoiler synopsis. From that I doubt I'd like it as much. You see...

God I'm flashing back to playing my Game Boy Advance on the schoolbus.... -
I was positive with it initially, but it really took a stumble over a severely idiotic turn and hasn't really recovered since, imo...

Well looks like everything really was played straight last week. Unfortunately for Albert there were other forces at work however, involving a right wing presidential candidate's hired assassins. And now he can't hope to control France, or even stop them without help from....Lupin! Boy, it's a good thing Lupin is so acrobatic and nimble so quickly after getting such severe wounds. But I kid. The flashbacks were somewhat interesting I guess, but mostly this felt like a transitional/buildup episode for the all out scramble over the book that's sure to come next week. I'm just not sure if next week will be this arc's finale, or if there'll be a bit more yet after it.

Back to the Future trilogy. For only around the 10th time in my life. I still say Part III is better than II. I've always viewed them as Marty's, Biff's, and Doc's movies respectively and Doc has always been my favorite character. The movie channels I watched them on rated them 4 stars, 2 1/2 stars, and 3 1/2 stars respectively and I tend to agree with that assessment.

I still buy stuff dark cloud, just very slowly. I was planning on posting around the end of the year when it was more than like 2 things but oh well. I got the Academia Season 2 Part 1 LE a month or so back. Definitely glad I didn't wait on that too as it's already sold out on rightstuf literally under 2 months after coming out, which is insane. By contrast I waited....and waited....and waited to pull the trigger on the Netoge LE and was rewarded by getting it on sale from rightstuf for just 39 bucks a few weeks back. I THINK those are my only two new acquisitions since my last post, but I dunno.

In fact now that I think about it, The Last was easily the best thing produced from the Naruto franchise, just give us the Bleach equivalent to that.

Well if the filler was then sign me up! Would absolutely be the highlight of the entire series.

Episode 46 this week, "From Iida to Midoriya," adapting Chapters 84 and 85 from Volume 10 of the original source manga. Bakugo has been kidnapped by the league of villains, and All Might is on the case, along with many of the other top heroes. Not that everyone from 1-A is willing to leave it all to them however! Yes, it's time for the students to pick a side and take a stand, with Young Iida all too familiar with acting recklessly. And things certainly got tense with that little physical altercation. Ultimately though it's just like back when Deku helped Bakugo against that villain way back at the beginning of the series where his legs moved on their own. And so, a compromise! Iida, Midoriya, Todoroki, Kirishima and Yaoyorozu go to find Bakugo together, ostensibly to "observe" though I hafta agree with Momo regarding that. Pretty nice disguises they've got on too, Momo lookin' extraordinarily sexy. But things are certainly still very serious, with UA taking a media wave, but if Shigaraki thought dealing with Bakugo would be easy, he's got another thing coming. Also as a bit of an aside or in case you missed it moment: It's been established before but Author Kohei Horikoshi is a big Star Wars fan. He has dressed as Kylo Ren before and owns alotta merchandise. In previous episodes we've gotten locations named after Tatooine and Dagobah. And possibly more I forget if the others have appeared yet or not. Plus my badass little boy Gran Torino, who I enjoyed seeing return btw, was inspired at least partially by Yoda. Well this week we got Kamino referenced, the clone planet first seen in Episode II. Although the subs mistakenly spelled it as "Camino" even though in the English manga volumes and the Star Wars universe it is indeed spelled Kamino. We'll be getting more Star Wars references as we go along. But for now, one last screengrab I took for this week.

Texan animation studios are making shows indistinguishable from animu

There have been some decent cgi anime to be fair. I liked ID-0 even though it wasn't particularly great. And while I would have rather it used traditional art Nobunaga Concerto was pretty cool.
