Girl has her hair in a braid so it counts as pulled back. Our chef pretty much wanted any guy to have military cuts or be bald, but couldn't force them to cut their hair so he'd just make it hard on you for having long hair even if you had it pulled back. -
Osaka accent is probably closer to an Appalachian or texarkana accent than when they used to give people Brooklyn, Bronx accents they tired in the 90s and 00s.

No funimation has just gotten very soap boxy the last 5 years. Then either the mangaka of dragon maid or prison school told them that what they did was disrespectful to their original work. Though the only one they went back and fixed was the one the mangaka scolded them for. However since then, they they had toned down "some" after they got knocked off their high horse.
