It doesn't take much to say "I'm sorry, that's inappropriate." Frankly, he should have put a stop to that kind of thing once word got around the first time. I can pretty much guarantee they don't care about casual viewers on this. Like with FLCL, it's being made not because they expect it to bring in lots of viewership, but because they themselves want to see it. If they cared about casual viewers, they'd just license more shonen drivel they can milk for years and not a niche horror title that came out 20 years ago.
