Honestly, it's moved up to being my favorite FF in the past few years. I enjoy pretty much everything about it. My only real complaints are that Freya's development ends at the start of Disc 2 and the story jumps the shark at the end.

I enjoyed it enough to keep watching, but a lot of the time I thought it was pretty boring. It might be that I just wasn't old enough to appreciate it. Twilight Bracelet was plain bad, but I enjoyed the manga. Roots got boring pretty fast, like it was twice as long as it needed to be. I enjoyed the OVA that came out a few years ago, though.
