  1. Anime shouldn't be treated like luxury sports cars.....where you have to be a sterotypical Rich Business Man Who Owns Several Yachts To Afford all your favorite animes on blu-ray
  2. i just find it a bit of a rip-off to pay so much for so little content
  3. I've Usually found Funimation DVD/Blu-Ray's at Walmart so wondering if the prices would be any better for the new releases there and i can afford if i find it in stores it's just that i wanted to know if the high price was to be expected and yeah i know how bad Aniplex prices are
  4. i was looking at funimation's website and noticed a lot of the animes they sell on DVD/Blu-Ray cost more than they should.... if you are gonna pay $50 for that then you should get a large amount of content but instead it's just 12 episodes.... and to my knowledge there's not much else to really bump up the price so I'm left wondering why and how this happened? my only guess is it's just a way of making enough money to stay in business and there is no logical reason why such a small set costs so much
  5. it was amazing how much manga they managed to shove into the book section...which is why i was disappointed when they took it down so fast a lot of stuff that aired on toonami was clearly visible
  6. sadly it barely lasted a couple months before the Manga Banner With One Punch Man Displayed was taken down and all the manga's were removed....(except for a few lonely unsold one punch man volumes) i have no idea why they were even there in the first place but it was a joy picking up stuff like Soul Eater Durarara And Attack On Titan At Walmart of all places what puzzles me is that this seemed like a test and one that clearly didn't have positive results so walmart decided to axe their plans of a manga section in the books aisle but nobody else online seems to have mentioned such a thing....should i count myself lucky for even seeing walmart stock a plentiful supply of manga at one time?
  7. well what else are they do with this time slot?
  8. don't overblow it while racism still exists it's not to the extent that it was back in the 30's where it was considered acceptable and a normal thing to bar anyone not white from your businesses and consider them less than human
  9. toonami should pick up what's good not just what's popular just off name value
  10. i just wish the commercials weren't just the same old drug addict trips that adult swims are like "Hey Rip out your teeth for some cigs!" or "Walk-In Bathtub For Ancient Old People"
  11. doesn't really help the image of anime fans
  12. i guess i live in another dimension or something because Cedar Hill's Apparently 20-30 Minutes Away and yet I Live In The Freaking Wilderness what sense does that make? I'd show pictures but you probably wouldn't believe them anyways the majority of residents around here are well into their 60's and over it's an oversized retirement home most homes here don't even have the internet for having the internet I'm like a god among men here(Iffy Internet since nobody else wants to come down here but eh the price is right) I'm not trying to make excuses or be doom and gloom now that's just how it is here and only someone who lives here would know that the internet doesn't really show much of alvarado except the small shopping complex in town and since i live within a lakehouse that's not close to me
  13. does anyone know what anime is?
  14. I Love One Piece but it deserves much better than this...Once a week airings late night in an insomniacs lineup is bullcrap
  15. it's funny i was able to see that god awful Aqua Teen Movie without having to struggle to find it.....yet even A DBZ Movie can be harder to come by around me i don't know how or why that Aqua Teen Movie got into as many places as it did but i wish it never did
  16. i did and the nearest one is 19 miles away you try searching Alvarado Texas and seeing what you come up with
  17. well when i figured it out right all it did was show me all the other people who would get to see it instead of me i did my actual area first and well being in the craphole of the state i wasn't surprised to find nothing
  18. i mean hell when your theater has the box office in the snack bar....your expectations for what films you actually get to see are pretty damn low
  19. A Couple Years Ago I Was Living In Burleson But Now I Live In Alvarado(Things Outside My Control forced that move)and as such i probably shouldn't have expected anything like One Piece Gold to come anywhere near me i mean when this is the nearest option for movies near your You are basically out of lucl
  20. I'm not the one calling someone on the internet a child and it isn't my fault the website 's fucked up okay big whoop they all have showings big whoopy now i can tell the one piece fans who live there they can see it without hassle(as long as they order in advance and know before hand that the website is glitchy and needs all the info)
  21. it also would probably be seen as more than just that shonen anime that constantly gets overlooked in favor of more DBZ praising
  22. sorry I was in the middle of that post before yours came up....anyways yeah there's plenty of places showing it but nowhere near me and if you exclude dallas that eliminates half of the showings
  23. wow that's bullshit and even with that in mind the closet theater is 19 Miles Away which is further than i can go for a movie why are there so many showings just for Dallas Alone? i was surprised when i couldn't see it at first now I'm shocked it's getting more love than anywhere else in texas Still No Austin Or San Antonio Or Houston which again is bizarre
