Yep. The movie was filmed in Woodstock, IL. (unfortunately, years after I left or I could have been an extra). The town decided to keep the tradition. I think they even got Brian Doyle Murray to guest for it one year.

Hopefully, this past week's phone interview will move things forward. It would be less than half what I was making, but it's with a charity I've donated to since 2012.

Homelessness is contraindicated in my current situation, so that's a non-starter.
