You don't "make people mad", you "drive them mad"...you "make people angry", which I believe is what you meant to say.

You're either an alt, or a very, very long time lurker. You have the board dynamics down without a "feeling out" period. You used just enough idioms to make yourself appear to be specific others on the board. You knew where to follow who was online, newbies don't usually do that. Unfortunately, I didn't buy a program at the gate when I came in, so I don't know every player on these boards to say who you are, but I have suspicions (which I'll keep to myself).

I'm talking Eastern Europe. Ever since college, I've had this feeling someone is going to come along and convince a lot of people that everything bad in the world is due to the US.

If my Russian/Ukranian was better, I might be able to pass for one. I think that's why my Russian prof. wanted me to switch to a language major back then. There are a lot of Ukranian descended Canadians though.

My biggest fear about traveling abroad is that it would be my luck that during my stay, anti-Western/anti-American sentiment would grow so strong wherever I was it would become dangerous and difficult to "get out of Dodge".

I got screwed over by Discover, so even though it's a different company now, never again. AMEX is a real good card, but a lot of places won't take it because of the fees.
