Not getting married while having children is mostly a black problem. I can't draw inferences with the limited statistics I saw, such as socioeconomic issues regarding that, but most Americans still get married before starting a family. In some countries, like Iceland and Sweden, having bastard children is the norm now. Women have more power there and the state provides many services.
Most American millennials are still projected to get married anyway. Over a quarter won't, which is the highest of any generation to date. Compare that to Japan, where over forty percent of milllennials are projected to never marry. Having bastard children in Japan is still a huge taboo, so you can imagine just how dire the popuation decline crisis really is there.
