same! half the time i make food i don't even like, just because i know other people love it and i like to fill their tumtums. apples were on super extra sale at the grocery store on sunday so i bought 3 bags for $1.50. so its lookin like i'll be making a shit ton of apple crisp this week to send out places. bought a ton of fresh mozzarella for the same reason, it was on super sale, so tonight i am making stuffed shells for a big dindin with some friends and fam. had no idea about a pie day tho... did he end up getting you the stuffs?

so we did end up getting a little bit of snow since very early am monday, but not a lot. now its sunny and freezing. haha! the next week looks like a day to day rollercoaster of sunny and cold af, snow, rain, sunny, freezing rain, sunny, snow, and so on and so on. at least the temp is gonna climb a little bit about a quarter way through. yay! hahahaha

digging through google, ebay, craigslist, and local fb barter/trade/sale pages a rare and relatively expensive DW snare drum was stolen from my friend/ex sometime last night or this morning, so i'm checking for listings because of from where it was stolen, i suspect its in some kids basement and likely won't show up for sale... but if it does, it will be easy to spot. cuz rare and recognizable. i hate thieves

isn't it a little dramatic to call my response trolling? you said 2017 is pissing gay people off but you're the only gay person i have seen/heard so unnecessarily upset over such trivial matters i just think you need to calm down and focus your energy on more important things and then you will find that you weren't really sure why you ever spent the mental/emotional energy over stuff like this
-
not a single one of my gay friends are remotely worried about any of that because they are far too busy with real life and real problems its just you... you have way too much free time on your hands mochi

Ohhhhh, no. Those first two I had to pull from the internet. They were local submissions to news places and what not. I went into the caves but I didn't bring a camera. So I can't take credit for them. I don't know if the original photographer of the second has a gallery with those one the internet

so i suppose i'll make this thread and just start with some things i've made recently. i'm no expert and i don't consider what i make a fine craft but i am trying. eventually i want to take some classes that involves some welding, working with finer metals, and hone wire wrapping skills... which i have gotten away from the last year and a half due to frustration and lack of technique. but they are pretty costly so that is on the back burner for meow. i'll just occasionally post what i am working on/have worked on. any and all constructive criticism and compliments welcome. also, any of your own feel free to post here for the same. pictures aren't always going to be the best quality. i'm limited in that right meow. merp. made these at the end of last week.

for whatever reason, 50% of the time i make tteokbokki the rice cake is hard. seriously do not know why that happens or what i'm doing wrong only half of the time >.< if i want decent korean anything, i usually have to drive 45-60 minutes... markets or restaurants. you can't even find a place that sells soju (technically) unless you want to drive 3-4 hours. i mean, the korean markets that are 45 minutes away sell soju... just not to non koreans because they don't have a liquor license and do such illegally. i've tried and failed many a time such a shame too, its my favorite booze besides beer. i am just not a huge fan of sour cream in general. like, i definitely use it in my cooking... casserole, dips, and the like but not as a topping. if something calls for it as a topping, i usually substitute it with plain greek yogurt.
