Unfortunately, I'm dead serious. Though I'm not entirely sure if the campaigns are actually popular or if the supporters of them are just very loud. Granted, where I live does have a track record of these type of batshit insane campaigns actually working. -__-

To make matters even more stupid, several of the people who are against mental health suggest imprisoning mentally ill people instead of treating them. Aren't fascist ideas just swell?

Two really popular campaigns around here at the moment are "Say no to fluoride" and "say no to mental health". While both ideas are pretty awful, the second one involves completely defunding and disbanding the county's mental health facilities. Sounds like a stellar idea that won't fuck up people's lives at all...

I have hand washing/counting/pattern repeating OCD, Severe chronic depression, and Anxiety. Fun times.
