My sister's become a huge Demon Slayer fan in the past year - even cosplayed as Mitsuri for Halloween - and from what little I can tell, she got into it through Netflix. Compared to me, who just watched it through Toonami because I've been regularly watching [as] anime premieres for over a decade at that point.

Yeah, it took me about a couple back-and-forth looks between Wakana's character design and the image of Shizuku-tan in the key visual before I figured out, "wait a sec, this isn't a crossdressing show". Thankfully, there were enough draws to the series beyond that misconception that I wasn't even going to consider not watching it, so you'll be glad to know that I've gotten three episodes down, three ratings logged, and three clips produced (which I'm happy to see you're coming around to). Of all the callbacks to everything that was skipped since OP was last on Toonami, the Amazon Lily stuff is by far the most awkward. Mostly because I was hoping to waifu Hancock myself once Toonami got to her episodes. Oh well, at least I still have Midnight.

Took me longer than I should have to figure that out, and I even pulled out Google Search too.

After giving it some extra thought, after reading others' justifications for the situation behind its return point, I've decided I'll watch the two One Piece episodes this Saturday. How much I'm able to enjoy them despite not seeing the 132 episodes skipped will determine whether or not I keep with it. Knowing me and anime, chances are I'll stick around.
