I think this place is a perfectly fine substitute for the ASMB. Of course, I say that having holed myself up (mostly) to the anime boards and never venturing into what accounts for IB and Pod 6 nowadays.

Either that or they don't realize the whole "voice actor replacement" thing was confirmed for Japan only because the powers that be didn't specify that detail.

My guess is they had a new show for next week, but it got subject to some sort of delay, and they didn't have time to re-record last night's intro. No doubt it's happened before.

JYB's been in FUNimation dubs long before COVID-19 was even a thing. I guarantee he feels just fine about it.

I think they mean the Japanese voice cast, but yeah, recasting Vash in English is bound to end with someone at Crunchyroll seriously injured.

The dub VA for Vash? No fucking way. Meryl, Milly and Wolfwood? They could always tap the Badlands Rumble VAs for them. As for the rest? Yeah, that's pretty much a near-definite.

Shippuden's over eight years due for a marathon, if not for the fact that we're back in Filler Hell, I'd say run reruns of it for one night!
