So in slightly OT news - The MHA movie made $5 million in a limited theatre run, and apparently MHA rashguards are a thing in the same way DBZ ones are. I wonder how many kids are gonna hit the gym as a result. But can Toonami translate that into ratings?

There were so many goddamn MHA costumes this year as Comic Con and MHA merch was a huge seller. Now that needs to translate into ratings. That same Con also beat it into my head Deku is essentially trying to be Captain America.

Joe, to me, has a very human motivation, but it’s not one every person has. I think that shines through and is why I liked his character so much, especially juxtaposed with less idealistic characters.

The Broly panel at NYCC filled the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden. It has a 5,000 seat capacity and it’s packed. Now look at FLCL 3. LOOK AT IT AND LAUGH.

A golf anime exists. They’ll do anything. It never got dubbed, but the limit you get for shows like this is probably Tiger Mask W.

Also Gary and his Demons, a show most people probably dismissed watching when they saw the ads on VRV, had a clip shown, and it was pretty damn funny.

Besides that. Ping Pong’s great but boxing man. (Still want a Karare Minoru Anime).

This wouldn’t be so bad if they weren’t fronting the costs for FLCL 3’s production. And I know they need more originals to stay competitive, but maybe sequels to 15 year old shows isn’t the answer. Don’t make Cowboy Bebop II is what I’m gonna say again.

Well they certainly have a lot of nice visuals. Also people are theorizing the Peter Parker in this movie is the same one from the Sam Raimi films (aka the Tobey Maguire one). Make of that what you will.
