I recommend everyone read the script for a laugh, because this legitimately reads like a hate fic.

They apparently turned the pilot down to be reworked. Some highlights from the script might explain why.

The Superman show looks like dogshit unfortunately, since it looks like the same losers that ran She-Ra into merchandising hell to the point Mattel is trying to forget it happened. The Batman show, that is probably Toonami bound if DeMarco gets his way.

And not to be outdone we're getting a Superman series as well, focusing Superman and Lois as their careers begin and advance.

Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves, and JJ Abrams are all on board, and DeMarco is probably hoping to get it the same way they got gen:Lock from Rooster Teeth.

We actually are getting a Mario movie from the Minions people, but people who do this oughta be blacklisted. Causes everyone to lose their shit for 2 hours before it's reported fake.
