Psh, like Unreal engine 4 was needed to make it look better than Super. You could easily have said "thanks to a Nintendo 64 and a 40 year old color television" What is that btw, the 15th DBZ fighting game?

Starting the long awaited S2 of AOT in 4th was a pretty terrible decision as well.

Doesn't make much financial sense to get stuff like MHA or Mob and then run it in the 3rd slot. I'm skeptical they can get anything like that until Super is over, or they're allowed to bump it down the lineup.

They're not even picking stuff they like. They're picking stuff up based on some online tumblr poll that only 10 people know about. They like Gundam and ..... other than that they don't really know much about any other anime. Unless you think they watched TG and GXP and were like "YES! THIS! PLAY THIS!"

I'm fine with them airing Lupin. They knew it wasn't going to bring in ratings, that's why they gave it a terrible timeslot right off the bat. It benefits from the exposure and they probably got it for almost nothing. Making Super their flagship though, huge mistake. A mistake that will probably prevent them from even being able to consider getting Mob Psycho, MHA, Konosuba, Re Zero, Kabaneri, Tanya, Overlord, Gate, and every other recent anime that could actually do well on Toonami.

PFFT 8? We barely learned a thing. Beast Titan did almost nothing after setting him up to be the main bad guy in the first episode. Eren's basement which has all the answers? Was it even mentioned? Why is Crista important again? What's up with that place Ymir came from? Reiner and Bert are still alive after all that fighting. And remember that new squad of cadets at the end of S1? Yeah we forgot about them completely. OOOPSIE. 3 or 4 episodes of content tops, i don't think a single subplot was resolved =P

I think they have the money for one big headliner, and they picked Super. Shows that don't need exposure like MHA would probably cost an assload. People really turned on TG after the second season, so it was probably quite a bargain.

Hey you forgot the walking test, the cooking test, and the waiting in the room test. That was the best one. They had to wait in a room until the timer was done counting down. And the first thing Hisoka does is vaporize some guys arms. No one even asks "Wow how did he do that?" and they quickly move on to other things. Even Hisoka killing an examiner the year before wasn't enough to get him uninvited from taking the test again. On hearing that the Hunter Org is apparently in the business of giving lunatic murderers like Hisoka a licence that would let him go anywhere and do almost anything, not one of them says "Hey maybe the Hunter Org is evil and we shouldn't get mixed up with this." Makes it hard to root for our protagonists when they're basically signing up to be members of an evil organization. And yeah the family of assassins being celebrities and having a demon dog that eats human flesh and leaves nothing but bones behind was also a thing. The guy just dumps the bones in the trash, no biggie. Happens all the time. The worst part of all.... was that the first 3 arcs were boring. I'll tolerate mountains of illogical nonsense if it's entertaining.

Well S2 had some good parts, but I felt like it was maybe 4 episodes of content stretched out with flashbacks to fill a 12 episode season.
