There's no way they are. They were hyping this a a year ahead of time and actually spent money advertising this. The ratings weren't good and the reception seems to be mixed to negative. FLCL was basically a cult classic and you can't make sequels to a cult classic. All in all, a huge waste of time, money and resources.

The fact that TG and Lupin were on that poll always makes me think the poll consisted of about 10 people.

No I need PTE, Bebop and Lupin reruns. At least I have Boruto.

The 3rd season was two cours but they're calling cour 2 S4 for some reason. I have not even been tempted to look at it. Youtube even knows not to try to suggest that I watch a clip. It knows better.

It had its ups and downs, but it definitely veered into a complete train wreck of retardation at the end. It was actually a frustrating series because I felt like the pieces were there.... but they didn't put in the effort. From what I've read they basically came up with the concepts and designs first and then just threw a story together around those designs. That's not how you write anything that's going to be good.

Wow a year or two ago I would have said Toonami was an unwatchable mess, but now it's actually pretty good. The only thing holding it back is the fact that they can't get any of this stuff when it's new.
