i don't get it.

*this is currently available on hulu* the book was written in '85 (?) and i remember catching bits of the movie that was made in '90, and, it wasn't terrible (robert duvall, faye dunaway~i think) but, as it has been done now, as a series, it pretty much follows the book. and given the current state of affairs with women's issues, and political insertion into women's rights (no ..well maybe a little pun intended ), this actually was a little to close to believable. elizabeth moss plays 'offred', and gives a spectacular performance. highly recommend. 10/10

is it weird that i never was one of those kids 'i want to be....' ? i honestly never had a dream job until my 20's. then it ranged from photojournalist, to architect. so many dream jobs.

not really. it was a turn around trip, and i was sick as a dog. although WV was beautiful with the snow. we got caught in the snowstorm headed back out of OH. the baby was so tiny, and we had to stop every couple hours to nurse him. but, he is just so beautiful. he is getting all chunky and wonderful. i lost my voice for a couple weeks, and really haven't gotten over the cough. but i see them every week. i rented her an apt, and got her set up. she is safe, and sound. and so is my little bit. <3

this is going to take me a moment to get used to this new 'style' btw...you can't do that to us old timers...making it all new and sparkly. we don't like change that much.

i am not liking that i have to try and figure out 'quoting' and 'youtube'ing and ...ugh. also mthor i got your message did you get mine?
