it's actually the perfect time. the city is taking the county to court. pretty sure it's something to do with misappropriated funds? no one can get the full story, because there hasn't been any open meetings in years. or, if they're are. the paper announces meetings that already happened, or not at all. it's a shit show.

i actually don't mind it myself tbh. but...the weather here was predictive of spring time, hence, all the buds, and bees and life. but the frost and cold is going to put a strain on that. like last year. we had 2 wonderful weeks of spring weather. everything popping and wonderful. then we got 2-3 days of frost and freezing weather. killed everything off. and that made for a very hot, humid, miserable spring. and hell like summer.

so cruel. so very very cruel.
