I see....well at least that keeps things interesting, right? However, probably best not to get involved long-term with someone like that, if that is the case. Though, quite frankly I'd rather be in a relationship with someone a bit crazy rather than someone detached or uncaring. At the very least you can enjoy the ride (no pun intended) and justify things to yourself when the relationship eventually implodes and ends. Whereas with someone who is indifferent towards you, it's foolish to have any expectations (positive, negative or otherwise). I'm not sure if that's pessimism, pragmatism or I'm-going-to-die-alone-ism but you catch my drift....I think.

You gotta have more faith in people, man. Especially if you get to know people over some length of time, I'm not really sure what the issue would be (at least in terms of meeting them). Sure meeting new people can be nerve-racking but I'm pretty sure that most of the people here are harmless. Especially the ones that talk a big game...they are the ones I think would probably be more anxious/worried to meet you than the other way around.

That's cool...do you guys live near him and hangout often or was it just like a one-time thing? I'm not sure if it's against the rules or whatever in terms of posting where you live but I'm in the tri-state area (NY/NJ/PA)...so I'm presuming there are plenty of ASMB users nearby. I believe Zeni is in this area also (I think) so that does give me some pause & hesitation but I'm presuming with how many people live on the east coast...that there are far more saner users nearby as well.

I know you're kidding or whatever but I'd probably be up for meeting you. You seem like a pretty stable person. I'm not sure if it would be like next week or something as I don't think I'd agree to just meet a random stranger (which no offense you kinda are at this point). The people I talked about wanting to meet were people that I had pretty good relationships with for a lot of years and still do with most of them (at least on social media...for whatever that's worth). In all honesty, I actually think it would be pretty fun to hangout with some ASMB folk as like a group. I'd probably want to do something that I normally wouldn't be able to with my friends though (get your head outta the gutter, perv)....something maybe anime-related or geeky or even like a sports event because a good majority of us on the boards are pretty into sports...so that'd be pretty fun. Now if we only had someone to plan and organize all this ;D

As I previously mentioned, this season has been the most disappointing season for me thus far. But I will agree that the mid-season finale was pretty good....albeit a little predictable in terms of the character death but whatever....I'll live with it (no pun intended). Anyways, while it's not going in the direction I wanted and for the most part holding steady with the comic's plot...I'm glad that some progress is finally being made. After that horrible Tara/what's his face-centric episode...it finally feels like the show is making some progress and not repeating what it has been trying to bash into our heads (again, no pun intended)...which is basically that Negan is a sadistic maniac the likes of which we haven't seen before, Rick has lost his balls, and introducing us to the other colonies/sanctuaries/safe zones/whatever. Basically at this point, I've spent so many years watching the show that I guess I'm resigned to the fact that I'll keep watching until it becomes unwatchable. The pace is always going to be an issue, just because of the number of episodes that they have to churn out, but as long as they focus on the major characters and make progress with the story/direction of the show then I'll continue to watch. Plus, at some point I'm expecting a Harambe-Walker to appear....so at the very least I'll be invested in TWD until that happens.

Oh, what the internet is not good enough for you now? No, seriously though...that's pretty impressive. I don't think I've ever met any board members in-person...though I wanted to/should have met at least one or two people...but at this point it's whatever. I do know plenty of boards members on facebook though and they is good peoples. Sure, some of them are a little odd but aren't we all in some sense or the other? Plus, a lot of my normy friends don't really get/like anime...so it helps me not feel like I'm on an island when I talk like an Otaku on fb. I'd be curious to know who is on the list of users you've met. If you're comfortable sharing. If not, it's all good either way.

The worst part of winter in the northeast (outside of the snow) is the fact that it legit starts getting dark at like 4 PM. It's ridiculous....I feel like I'm in perpetual darkness for like 3 months each year.

Haha that's so funny.....I literally did too. I think it was one of the ones that Adult Swim actually had in their wallpapers section (maybe?). I don't quite remember. I know I had/have a whole collection of AS-related wallpapers from back in the day somewhere on my computer still. We've given AS plenty of love. Only fair that we give Toonami some too!
